Standard and bespoke reviews are designed to assess lifting procedures and operations to identify compliance, non-compliance and offer recommendations.
For example, a desktop review can be completed to assess a client’s lifting policy, process and procedure compliance with the UK Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations, its Approved code of Practice along with Step Change in Safety’s Lifting and Mechanical Handling Guidelines.
Alternatively, or combined with the desktop review, an onsite review of lifting operations performed by the client and / or its contractors, can be completed to assess compliance with company procedures.
