Safety Handbooks
First Competence handbooks have been specifically designed and produced for training providers to use as a course handout during stage 1 / initial training, for companies to enhance their internal development programmes and for lifting personnel as a reference companion.
Note:
The Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Thorough Examination Handbooks reference equipment CE marking. However, from the 1st January 2023, CE Marking will no longer be accepted on most new products placed on the market in Great Britain. Instead, a UKCA mark will be required. Applicable guidance on equipment marking will be updated when required.
