A First Competence development programme can be introduced into medium to large projects or individual facilities.
The programme’s aim, over a period of time, is to produce competent lifting personnel, along with suitable lifting equipment, processes and performance.
For example, with new personnel that have little or no knowledge / experience, the programme utilises structured training, experience and assessment elements to gradually increase an individual’s level of knowledge, expand their experience, increase ability and focus compliant behaviour within a safe system of work.
For existing personnel, it assesses current qualifications, knowledge, experience, ability and behaviour with the view of confirming role suitability and / or implementing a development plan.
